I finally painted something cute and little in my Moleskine notebook that I bought as a souvenir in Malpensa Airport (Milan) from our vacation to North Italy.

Moleskine watercolor notebook 21x13cm, white night watercolors, white gouache and white gel pen.
The show was great, many people came by and loved the art. Our friends and family were there and also many people who just walked around and entered the gallery. Sooo much positive feedback! It was an amazing experience to show my more grown up art in comparison with the first show we had two years ago.
Also the place itself - Uriel23 - is just great!
The people who work there, Eli and his wife Shoshana, Gefen and others are so nice and warm. We, the artists, thank them from the bottom of our hearts for such a great opportunity to show our works!
All the people behind -
Me, Anat Yefet- our art tutor, Elena Podobedov, Victor Pinhas, Eli and his wife Shoshana - they are the hosts of the gallery place itself - Uriel23.
The Invitations -
From my works at the show people loved the drawing of my sister and the foxes especially. This is a great sign because these are my latest and more mature artworks.
I haven't updated much about my life because there are lot's of good changes in it for the last two months.
1. Moved to a rent apartment (with my fiance). SOME Independence at last!
One place for everything is just great!
For the last four (actually seven) years I had to divide myself in to three different places every time and every weekend. I felt that I just can't handle that anymore, it's so annoying to have three beds, three same perfumes, three same mascaras and so on...at three different places. No more!
Believe me it's great to make your own laundry only at one place and by yourself!
2. Have one comfortable place for my art.
3. Moved to work in another school. The former one was deeply disappointed that I was leaving because they loved me very much there, especially after the last year that was successful.
4. Preparing myself for a new group art show at the end of November in Tel Aviv.
The foxes project goes well, one and more than half of another one are already done, so there are two more to go. I will show them all together!
The old book pages works well too, there are five more to complete.
The painting of my sister will be at the show as well.
Dazy is a pinscher mix. She is lovely and gentle little dog, she is 12 years old now.
Pens on an old book page. The eyes and some of the owl are drawn with gold and silver pens that look much better in real life. Size - 16.5x24.5cm
The book itself was printed in Israel at 1967 and it's on Hebrew. Its was translated from English and it's original name is "A Treasury of Great Reporting", it's basically a collection of shocking press posts from 1793-1961.
Six more are planned.

Lucky gets some art education, after she tried to eat it!
Done two years ago in 2011, the largest painting in the series of "the couples", sold for 280$ to a great person, very nice lady.
She is also commissioned me for another painting especially for her, it will be a still life painting.
I was amazed by the fact that she feels such a connection to a painting that I intentionally did for myself. She saw a photo of it and told me that she was searching for a painting of two lions for several years. The moment she saw my painting she said "Oh, I love these lions, I will purchase this painting!"
I feel rather comfortable with the price because I know this lady in person and because an artist had to start from something, so be it!
No commercial use of the box, I painted this one for a gift only.
You are welcome to order one custom made especially for you! A wood box like that can be a great present for your loved ones and yourself of course. Just mail me via golous@gmail.com for all the details. The price depends on the size of the box and the complexity of the painting.
Fist of all take some music for the post - P!nk - Just Give Me A Reason ft. Nate Ruess
Pink inspires me! She is one the minority of singers who stays true to herself.

Some progress on the Foxes
Now it looks like this -
I really hope to work more on this series, but my regular life is a killer for art right now. At least I am slowly progressing with these foxes and not stopping. The canvases with the sketches waited more than a year until I finally felt that I am ready to proceed in painting with oils. The main obstacle was the fact that I wanted to make a Celtic border at the bottom of every canvas, I even did it at one, but I just could not proceed to work on this borders, it was too complicated for me, so I left the canvases aside for more than a year! This until eventually I decided to abandon the idea of celtic borders at the bottom and just to paint, finally.
I also had a huge dilemma with the top corners but it was solved right when I started painting.
Well wish me luck if you want to see the series complete.
On a personal note -
I had my 25th birthday at the last Sunday - 14/4. :)
And with great help from my friends and family I got a brand new Canon SX50 for my birthday, which is a huge upgrade from my old Canon S2 IS. I love it so much! By the way the second photo of the Foxes project is shoot with the new camera.
The old one did a great job for almost 8 years! But I was in need to renew the lenses.
So here is my little baby
